How do I set up my child's profile?
Create an account, add your child's name and birthdate, then Poppet tailors food ideas, texture guidance, and allergen scheduling around their age and feeding stage.
What age is Poppet designed for?
Poppet is built for the solids journey, from first tastes through toddler meals. It is most helpful during baby-led weaning, allergen introductions, texture progression, and the busy months when caregivers need a shared food history.
What's the difference between Plus and Premium?
Plus is the full app for one account, including recipes, calendar planning, exports, texture tracking, and food insights. Premium is built for families who want to share Poppet with up to 3 users, like a partner or caregiver.
Can I add more than one child?
The Free plan includes one child profile, which is ideal when you're focused on a single food journey. Upgrade to Plus or Premium for unlimited child profiles, including twins, siblings, and more.
How does Snap and Log work on each plan?
Take a meal photo and Poppet suggests an editable food-log draft. On Free you get one AI scan per day. Plus and Premium include unlimited Snap and Log scans.
How does allergen introduction scheduling work?
Poppet helps you plan one allergen at a time, track tries, and keep allergens in rotation after they have been introduced. It is a planning tool, not medical advice, so always follow your pediatrician's guidance for your child.
Can I use Poppet offline?
Poppet requires an internet connection. Some previously loaded screens may be visible offline, but logging, Snap and Log, sync, and exports all need a connection.
Is there a web version or is it app only?
Yes. Poppet has a web app for planning, reviewing logs, managing recipes, exports, and account settings, plus a mobile app for faster day-to-day logging and Snap and Log.
Do I need an account for each caregiver?
Yes. On Premium, each invited caregiver uses their own account and login, so you do not have to share one password. The subscriber manages caregiver invites from Settings.
Who can see my child's data?
Only you and the caregivers you invite can access your child's profile. Premium lets you share access intentionally, and the subscriber manages who is invited from Settings.
Can caregivers edit the food log or just view it?
Caregiver access can be managed with roles, so families can choose whether someone can help update feeding details or only view shared information.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties. You can export or delete it anytime.
Can I switch plans later?
Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from your Settings page. If you downgrade, you keep access until the end of your billing period.
What happens when my trial ends?
You'll move to the Free plan—still a great fit for tracking one child's food journey. Your data is never deleted; you simply won't have access to paid features until you subscribe again.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, no contracts or commitments. Cancel from your Settings page and you'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
